Are you looking for things to do this weekend? There is plenty of Valentine’s Weekend Fun in Carlsbad Village in addition to having some beach time.
It goes without saying Monday the 14th is THE big day for celebrating Valentine’s Day. But with our beautiful weather – sunny and mid/upper 70s this weekend – you may want to be out and about.

HEART OF THE VILLAGE BLOOD DRIVE
Donate double red cell blood at the 5th annual blood drive on Saturday February 12 between 10 am and 3 pm. Unfortunately, but good news for the San Diego Blood Bank, all whole blood donation slots are filled. But if you are interested, here’s the link to the appointment page at the San Diego Blood Bank website.
VALENTINE’S POP-UP EVENT
Shop for that special Valentine’s gift on Saturday the 12th at the Valentine’s Pop-up Event. This new event will be held at Barrio Glassworks in the parking lot in conjunction with the blood drive. There will be several different artisans as well as gifts from Barrio Glassworks.
FOLLOW YOUR HEART TREASURE HUNT
The 2nd annual Follow Your Heart Treasure Hunt is from Saturday 10 am to Sunday 4 pm. The event is sponsored by the Carlsbad Village Association and Barrio Glassworks. 50 hand-blown glass hearts will be hidden throughout the Village. Furthermore, you find one and you get to keep it! Register online and you will be in a prize drawing – a private glassblowing experience at Barrio Glassworks.
