Artists and art lovers are no doubt looking forward to the 2025 ArtWalk Carlsbad, the 6th annual. ArtWalk Carlsbad is a little over a week away, on September 20th and 21st. What a fun way to celebrate the end of Summer 2025 with the 1st day of Fall on Monday the 22nd.
ArtWalk San Diego produces the Mission Federal ArtWalk in Little Italy and the ArtWalk @ Liberty Square, and is also the organizer of ArtWalk Carlsbad.
Multiple sponsors help make this art event affordable for people to attend – it’s FREE – as well as for artists to participate. (NOTE: Photo is from a previous art fair in Carlsbad).
WHAT TO EXPECT AT ARTWALK CARLSBAD 2025
ArtWalk Carlsbad features more than 150 local, regional and international artists. As a result, you can expect plenty of high quality artwork if past events I’ve attended are any indication.
ArtWalk Carlsbad takes place on Armada Drive above the Carlsbad Flower Fields. This venue offers terrific views of the Carlsbad coastline and ocean, with ocean breezes, as side benefits as you enjoy beautiful art work and meet the artists.
You’ll find hundreds of works of art in a variety of media – glass, oil and acrylic painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, woodworking, metalworking, and more. Furthermore, artists are selected by jury so you can expect high quality plus a wide range of artworks. You can check out the participating artists here.
ArtWalk Carlsbad offers a special area for young artists, too. In addition, KidsWalk will feature fun, family-friendly art projects and art activities with several sponsors.
Attendees will also enjoy live entertainment on both days on 2 stages. There are 2 beer and wine gardens, and multiple food vendors.
You’ll find plenty of free parking along Fleet Street, and in adjacent lots just east of Armada Drive. There are 2 entrances to the art fair.
ArtWalk Carlsbad 2025 hours are Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
