It’s time to celebrate the 12th annual Small Business Saturday in Carlsbad Village on November 27th. Grab your wallet and come #shopsmall!
Do you find it hard to believe the holiday shopping season is upon us again? I sure do!
The first Saturday after Thanksgiving traditionally is the official day for supporting small businesses in the US. As always there will be plentiful opportunities from our Carlsbad Village merchants.
I imagine many residents and visitors already support our small businesses regularly! If you don’t here’s a good opportunity.
The Carlsbad Village Association website says 67 cents of each dollar spent at a small business remains in the community. That’s pretty impressive, and important for any local economy.
Stay tuned for updates on what’s being done to make this a safe event for all. By the way you can expect plenty of retailer specials and discounts.
So mark your calendar to #ShopSmall in Carlsbad Village on Saturday November 27th. If you haven’t spent much time there you may be surprised at the variety our Carlsbad Village businesses offer.
And in addition to retailers, you’ll find multiple services – day spas, restaurants, art galleries, and so much more.
Small Business Saturday is a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the Village and get started on your holiday shopping. I hope you will come support the small business movement in Carlsbad November 27th. Expect that most, if not all, our local merchants will participate and will be pleased to see you!
There will be live music too, featuring the Carlsbad High School Jazz Ensemble with a holiday concert. If you’ve heard them before you know how talented they are.

And don’t forget the Carlsbad Village Street Faire on November 2, 2021! There are plenty of shopping opportunities there, with lots to see! Picture some 750 vendors selling just about everything you can imagine.
