If you are looking for a job in Carlsbad Village itself, or are a Carlsbad Village business needing help, the Carlsbad Village Association has some good news for you.
They have created a job board for business owners to post jobs, and those looking for jobs can search for something that meets their needs.
This is in follow-up to their first-ever job fair that took place in September.
The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) has done so much for the community. For example, they sponsor numerous events during the year to bring people into the Village which helps business owner members. These include the weekly Farmers’ Market, the Heart of the Village Blood Drive, the Taste of Carlsbad Village, musical offerings, Small Business Saturday, the Makers Market Crafters Showcase fairs, the Art in the Village fair, and so much more.
The job board is free to CVA members, and also free until the end of the year for non-member businesses. A modest fee (not announced on the mailing I received) will be charged to those who are not CVA members beginning in 2022.
It will be interesting to see how well this works for business owners in Carlsbad Village. There are often part-time temporary opportunities during the holidays..
I checked but didn’t see any job postings yet, but the board is pretty new. Here’s the link for employment opportunities.
Business owners can submit a job posting here.
No doubt some employers are postings Help Wanted signs in their windows, too. However, some jobs may be better suited to a job board. Plus job seekers have the convenience of looking online.
