Your last chance to enjoy the Encinitas Classic Car Nights 2022 is coming soon!
I suspect anyone who has attended the Encinitas Cruise Nights on the 3rd Thursday of each month from May to September has enjoyed this event. You don’t have to be a collector or a classic car buff to appreciate the beauty of these cars.
If you missed the first 4 events, Thursday September 15th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm is the last opportunity for 2022. Local car clubs will have dozens of classic vehicles parked for admiring and you don’t want to miss it!
It’s been a few years now since I last attended and it’s always great fun. You can’t help but be awed by the Woodies and other classic cars parked along the Coast Highway 101! They’re wonderful to see in person, and beautifully maintained by their owners.
This final Encinitas Cruise Night of 2022 will kick-off the annual Wavecrest Woodie Meet. The meet officially starts the next day at Moonlight Beach.
The Encinitas Classic Car Nights are sponsored by the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association and take place in downtown Encinitas. You’ll find cars parked along Main Street/Route 101 between D and K Streets.
Beautiful cars, people watching, several live rock and roll bands, and plentiful places to eat, drink and shop make this a terrific summer evening event. What better way to celebrate the Southern California beach culture along with rock and roll music!
I’d plan to get their early to find the best parking. It gets crowded and parking nearby is limited with the changes in the curb-side dining that’s been added!! Furthermore some portions of side streets are reserved parking for the classic cars – so be aware so you don’t get towed.
