The 2023 annual Holiday Showcase Makers Market is on Saturday December 2nd from 9 am until 4 pm. in Carlsbad Village. This is the 7th annual event.
Because of their popularity the Makers Markets have expanded. There are now multiple events during the year, along with the special one at holiday time…the original.
The Holiday Showcase Makers Market is FREE. But don’t go off without your credit cards or cash for holiday shopping.
The Makers Market is outdoors on the campus at St. Michael’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church. St. Michael’s is located at 2775 Carlsbad Boulevard in the Village, 1 block north of Grand Avenue.
The Makers Market Crafter Showcase is a terrific shopping opportunity for the holiday season. Expect personally designed and handcrafted items from around 40 local and regional artisans. Vendors are selected by a jury, so you’ll find high quality products and plenty of creativity. Everything is designed by the artisans and hand-made, not factory-produced, which means all are one-of-a-kind.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT THE HOLIDAY SHOWCASE
As with other arts and crafts events in Carlsbad Village, you can anticipate lots of different works of art – leatherwork, beading, jewelry, 3D functional art, fabric creations, candles, glass, graphic design apparel, re-purposed materials and more.
You can also enjoy talking with the artisans and find out what inspired their creations!
The 2023 Holiday Makers Market will also feature Santa and a Toys for Tots drive. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to share and get a free photo with Santa. There will be live holiday music, too.
