The 18th Annual Carlsbad Music Festival takes place in Carlsbad Village November 5th from 1 to 9 pm. The Festival offers “adventurous music at the beach” (per their website) with 6 bands.
The Carlsbad Music Festival has been a crowd pleaser for nearly 2 decades and I expect 2022 will be the same. Check out the Carlsbad Music Festival Facebook page.
The festival will be held at St. Michael’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, at 2775 Carlsbad Boulevard. In addition to great music you can enjoy a beer garden and food trucks.

There are several ticket options including a VIP Lounge with parking; you can buy your tickets online. Doors open at 12 noon. Children 12 and under are free.
Carlsbad has a well-known reputation as an arts community. There are multiple arts and crafts fairs and festivals (don’t forget the Carlsbad Village Faire on November 6!). You’ll find art galleries including the city-owned Cannon Art Gallery. The Carlsbad Art Wall has a new wall mural every few month. The free summer TGIF Concerts in the Parks series (9 concerts on successive Fridays) returned live this year. You’ll also enjoy the Museum of Making Music and their multiple concerts. The New Village Arts Theater has live performances in Carlsbad Village, and there’s plenty more.
