Carlsbad Village Faire Nov. 6, 2022

Another favorite arts and craft fair, the Carlsbad Village Faire, returns Sunday November 6.

The Carlsbad Village Street Faire is reportedly the largest outdoor 1-day fair in the US. There is also a Carlsbad Village Faire in May each year.

The Carlsbad Village Faire is open from 8 am until 4 pm. That should be plenty of time to enjoy hundreds of vendors.

The Carlsbad Village Faire takes place in the heart of town, along Grand Avenue from Carlsbad Boulevard to Jefferson. The Faire spills over onto side streets, including State Street.

Be aware there will be some road closures in the Village and limited parking. 100,000 attendees are estimate so expect it to be crowded

And if you get tired of the Village Faire you are close to numerous local Carlsbad Village retailers to enjoy.

So what will you see? Plan on 750+ vendors with unique clothing, arts and crafts, gift items, home furnishings and accessories. There will be collectibles, plants and garden items, antiques, products from around the world, and more. (photo is from a different fair in the Village).

Art in the Village fair is June 26, 2022

You’ll find a traditional pancake breakfast, international food court, a beer garden, live music, and children’s activity area.

Despite the crowds it’s a fun time to explore the Village. And the Carlsbad beaches are just a couple of blocks away for a stroll after shopping. That is if you’re not too tired.

Parking will be limited due to the crowds and Carlsbad Village Faire vendors, so arrive early. The good news is parking is still free in Carlsbad.

Consider taking advantage of the free shuttles offered throughout the day at roughly 15-minute intervals. There are shuttles located at the northwest corner of Sears atThe Shoppes at Carlsbad (at the 78 and El Camino Real). The other location is the Poinsettia Coaster Station on Avenida Encinas between Palomar Airport Road and Poinsettia.

Another option is the Coaster train – be sure to check the schedule. The train station is a short distance from the Faire.
