The 2022 Carlsbad Holiday Tree is now in place, in Carlsbad Village at the entrance to the Village Faire shopping center.
Other decorations are in place and the Village, and the Village Faire, are looking quite festive as they do at this time of year.
Don’t forget the annual Holiday Tree Lighting, the 37th, takes place this Sunday, December 4th. The event begins at 2:00. with the arrival of Santa, his Elf, and Mrs. Claus at 2:15. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carlsbad.
I was going to wait to post a photo of the tree until after the lighting. However, family obligations take me to LA on Sunday and I’ll miss the lighting ceremony and festivities this year.

Other holiday events this weekend – the Holiday Showcase Makers Market and Holiday at the Rancho. Both take place on Saturday.
