Carlsbad art lovers take note! The 3rd Annual ArtWalk Carlsbad will take place on September 24 and 25.
The 1st ArtWalk Carlsbad was held in 2018 and my wife and I had a great time! Here’s what we enjoyed. Unfortunately the 2020 and 2021 events were canceled due to the pandemic.
ArtWalk San Diego is the organizer of ArtWalk Carlsbad. They also produce the popular Mission Federal ArtWalk in Little Italy and the ArtWalk @ Liberty Square.
There are multiple sponsors to help make this art event affordable, for attendees and the participating artists.
Hence, ArtWalk Carlsbad is free to attend, and will feature around 150 local, regional and international artists. You can check out participating artists here.
ArtWalk Carlsbad takes place on Armada Drive above the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Furthermore, there are terrific views of the Carlsbad coastline and ocean, with ocean breezes, as a side benefit to enjoying beautiful art work.
You’ll find hundreds of works of art in a wide range of media, including photography, glass, sculpture, oil painting, jewelry, metal work, and wood working. Artists are jury-selected. As a result you can expect high quality and a variety of art work.

KidsWalk is a special area for young artists, and will feature family-friendly art projects and activities with several sponsors.
In addition, you’ll also be able to enjoy live music on both days on 2 stages.
Parking is abundant along Fleet Street and in adjacent parking lots, immediately east of Armada Drive.
ArtWalk Carlsbad hours are Saturday September 24 from 11 to 6, and Sunday from 10 to 5.
