The very popular, and FREE, summer movie series – Flicks at the Fountain – is a 6-week series on successive Thursday evenings in Carlsbad Village at…where else?…the Fountain at the corner of State Street and Grand Avenue.
The movies have not been finalized and you have the opportunity to vote for your favorite 6 movies from a potential line-up of 14. You can also suggest G and PG-rated movies (some PG-13 movies may be considered). Visit the Flicks at the Fountain website to cast your vote and to email your suggestions.
Seating begins at 6 pm, with the movie starting at dusk (about 8 pm or so). Be sure to bring your low-back chairs, and blankets in case it’s chilly (not unusual being close to the beach). You will also want to bring along your al fresco dinner, or stop by one of the local restaurants in the Village for take out. You could even order a pizza for delivery!
So put the Flicks at the Fountain on your calendar, and stay tuned for the schedule once it’s officially announced.
The series starts July 11 and runs through August 15th.
