The latest #CarlsbadArtWall is a beauty – my opinion – thanks to Bryan Snyder, a Carlsbad artist who also had a vision for a public art project some 4 years ago.
As you likely know if you live in Carlsbad, the Carlsbad Art Wall rotates every 2-3 months, roughly, with a new installation by local and regional artists. We’ve now seen about 20 of them and each one has been unique and beautiful.
Of course we owe a big thanks to Senor Grubby’s, a popular Mexican restaurant on Carlsbad Village Drive, and the owner. If you somehow have not seen this, you’ll find the murals on the east-facing wall and easily viewed as you head to the beach from Downtown Carlsbad Village, just west of the railroad tracks.
The mural is all about the Colors of Carlsbad. For the 2nd year in a row, Visit Carlsbad, the visitor and travel guide, partnered with the Pantone Color Institute, and marketing platform Fohr. A study of travel photos on the social media site Instagram was completed (you can read more about the study here). The study resulted in 4 trending colors of travel for 2019, and are reflected in Bryan’s mural of Carlsbad.
Be sure to stop by in the next couple of months and take a look up close so you can truly enjoy the artistry, the colors, and the Carlsbad lifestyle images.
