The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is once again sponsoring the Spring Shop Hop in the Village. This fun event focuses on the many popular businesses we have in Carlsbad, with an opportunity for you to win prizes just for visiting 10 retailers, and no purchase is necessary (but you probably will anyhow!!).
The 3rd annual Carlsbad Village Spring Shop Hop takes place on Saturday April 20th, the day before Easter, from 11 am to 6 pm. Residents and visitors will get to enjoy plenty of dining and shopping discounts, food samples and snacks, retailer hospitality, and live music.
To participate, all you have to do is to check in for your Spring Shop Hop Passport beginning 11 am at the Carlsbad Village Association Welcome Table, located at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street. The first 100 people who check in get a free reusable hopping bag!
All you have to do…and this is the simple part…is visit at least 10 area retailers to have your passport stamped, then turn it in at the Welcome Table before 6 pm. With over 40 participating Carlsbad Village businesses, this should be easy.
There will be over $1500 worth of gifts to be given away (e.g., free nights at selected local hotels, salon and spa packages, shopping and dining certificates).
What a great opportunity to enjoy our beautiful Village, check out our many small businesses – perhaps there were some that will be new to you – do some shopping, and support our business community.
Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Spring Shop hop on Saturday April 20 in Carlsbad Village. Why not make a day of it and enjoy the beach and late breakfast before you start shopping, or dinner once you are done (check out the restaurants in the North State area of Carlsbad Village)?!
You will want to get there early to find the best parking (yes, it’s still FREE in Carlsbad Village), and snare one of the complementary shopping bags. No doubt there will be lots of interest in this event, and with great weather there are lots of people out and about in the Village on the weekends.
