GelatoLove is one of my favorite stores in Carlsbad Village. And no doubt many others as well. In case you missed the first event, GelatoLove is offering a 2nd opportunity to learn how to make gelato at their Make It Gelato Day, on Saturday August 17th.
GelatoLove is sponsoring this fun and tasty event in collaboration with Carlsbad Food Tours. BTW Carlsbad Food Tours offers a variety of food tours around the Village where you can not only explore some of the best places to eat but learn about the local history, architecture and culture.
You may already know that GelatoLove originally opened as Gaia Gelato in March 2015 at the Village Faire in Carlsbad Village.
They expanded their operation some months ago and became GelatoLove, and opened their Tasting Room and Gelato Lab at 5661 Palmer Way, Suite C (just north of Faraday and east of El Camino Real).
Make it Gelato Day will be held at the Tasting Room and Lab from 12 to 2. The cost is $45 per person for adults; kids 10 and under are $25.
Work with the professionals to craft gelato from the freshest local, organic and natural ingredients (they use Carlsbad’s mineral springs alkaline water, too), and learn how to make sorbet drinks. Of course you’ll get to do some tasting, and take home a pint of gelato that you made!
