As many people know the annual TGIF Concerts in the Parks series started Friday June 24th at Stagecoach Park. The 2nd concert just happened a couple of days ago so 7 remain.
Here are a few updates since my last post.
First, the schedule has changed slightly. As a result, there are now 3 concerts at Poinsettia Park instead of 2. And there are 2 concerts instead of 3 at Alga Norte Community Park. However, the bands are the same as previously listed.

July 8 – The Mighty Untouchables
July 15 – Phat Cat Swinger
NEW – July 22 – High Tide Society
Calavera Hills Community Park
July 29 – The Ryan Hiller Band
NEW – August 5 – Sabrosas Latin Orquestra
Alga Norte Community Park
August 12 – The Detroit Underground
August 19 – 80z All-Stars
Additionally, the venues open at 4 pm which is earlier than previously announced.

There are 2 or 3 continuous free shuttles at the parks. Thus, you’ll see signs to tell you where to park. However, here is the information from the Carlsbad City website for shuttle parking locations.
Poinsettia Community Park: North Coast Calvary Chapel, 1330 Poinsettia Lane
Calavera Hills Community Park: Sage Creek High School, 3900 Cannon Road
Alga Norte Park: Park at 5815 El Camino Real
Shuttles run from 4:15 until 9:15 pm (slightly earlier and later times than previously reported).
