Seeing the holiday lights every year is such fun, in our local neighborhood as well as other places around town. It’s always interesting to see what people do in terms of holiday decorations – some are simple, some incredibly elaborate
Twin Towers – I love how the Twin Towers on Carlsbad Boulevard are lit up, especially the palm trees. I haven’t seen them yet this year but no doubt they will thrill me again. You? And of course I always enjoy seeing the Holiday Tree at the Carlsbad Village Faire (300 Carlsbad Village Drive just west of the railroad tracks) all lit up – tonight is the tree lighting from 2 – 5 pm.
State Street in Carlsbad Village – I love the white lights on State Street between Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue every year. And of course those holiday window displays we are seeing all over the Village are such fun to see. Wonder which windows will win the contest this year – any favorites?
Here are some other places to check out some wonderful holiday light displays in Carlsbad:
Carlsbad Christmas House – 7607 Romeria Street in the La Costa area off La Costa Avenue. From December 2 through the 31st, from 5 to 10 pm. Let me know what you think.
6646 Elegant Tern Place – from December 5 – 25 from 5 until 10 pm. Another winning display.
3520 Corte Ramon – from dusk until 10pm.
