The Carlsbad Snores and S’mores Family Campout returns for 2021 and will take place Saturday and Sunday, August 14th and 15th.
That’s right! Carlsbad’s Snores and S’mores Family Campout is back after being cancelled in 2020. The Campout takes place at Aviara Community Park in South Carlsbad at 6435 Ambrosia (just north of Poinsettia), from 5 pm Saturday until 9 am Sunday (check-in starts at 4 pm). There is plenty of parking at the park.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $25 per person (children 3 and under are free but they must be registered). If you are interested register online before 11:00 pm on August 13 (no tickets will be sold at the event). Don’t delay since the number of attendees is limited.

After you’ve set up your tent the fun begins at 5 pm, with family games, activities, face painting, crafts and BINGO, and ends at 8 pm. The BBQ dinner is from 6 until 7 pm.
It’s time for popcorn, S‘mores and a family-friendly outdoor movie, beginning at 8:15, and lights out at 11:00 pm!
The fun continues Sunday morning with a continental breakfast (fruit, muffins, yogurt) from 6 until 8 am, followed by an optional hike before the campout ends. The park must be cleared out by 10 am.
