There’s more fun ahead this summer in Carlsbad with the Snores and S’mores Family Campout coming soon.
The 2023 Carlsbad Snores and S’mores Family Campout is Saturday and Sunday, August 12th and 13th. The event is held at the Aviara Community Park located at 6435 Ambrosia Lane, just north of Poinsettia Lane.
The Snores and S’mores Family Campout takes place from 5 pm Saturday until 9 am Sunday. Check-in and tent set up are from 4 – 6 pm. There is plenty of parking available.
Campout tickets must be purchased in advance at $25 per person, all inclusive. Children 3 and under are free but they must be registered. No tickets will be sold at the event.
You must register online before 11:00 pm on August 11. The number of attendees is limited so don’t delay. Registration will end when/if the event sells out.
The event area opens at 5 pm, when the fun happens with family games, activities, face painting, and more. Activities end at 8 pm. The BBQ dinner is served from 6 until 7 pm.
It’s time for popcorn, S‘mores and a family-friendly outdoor movie at 8:15. Lights are to be out by 11:00 pm.
The fun ends Sunday morning with a continental breakfast from 6 until 8 am. This is followed by an optional hike before the campout ends at 9 am. The park must be cleared out by 10 am!!
