Halloween is a distant memory, and Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away. And the holiday season is rapidly approaching. Of course that means the 15th annual Small Business Saturday in Carlsbad Village is soon.
The Saturday after Thanksgiving is traditionally the day to support small businesses throughout the US. And you’ll find plentiful opportunities at our Carlsbad Village retailers to #shopsmall.
Many residents, and visitors, already support small businesses in Carlsbad but this is a special opportunity, especially with the holiday shopping season upon us.
So mark your calendar to #ShopSmall in Carlsbad Village on Saturday November 30th. You may be surprised at the variety our Carlsbad Village businesses have to offer, especially if you haven’t spent much time shopping there. There are numerous options for your holiday shopping.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
Once again the Carlsbad Village Association is sponsoring a Small Business Saturday Celebration from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Check in at the Carlsbad Village Association booth at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street and receive a reusable tote bag and swag giveaways, while supplies last.
Be sure to grab a free raffle ticket to participate in the “Giveaway Tree” drawings, too. There will be almost $2000 in restaurant gift cards and retail gift cards. Multiple winners will be texted every 30 minutes between 11:30 and 3:30. Prizes must be claimed by 4:00 pm at the CVA booth.
In addition to all the Village stores, there are multiple services including day spas, restaurants, art galleries, wine stores, and more. Who knows what specials you’ll find at these vendors?
Robert Parker will also share live piano music to put you in a festive mood.
Small Business Saturday 2024 is a wonderful opportunity to experience Carlsbad Village and do some holiday shopping, plus support the small business movement in Carlsbad. You can expect lots of local merchants will take part, with loads of discounts and specials to entice you!
