The housing market continues to be competitive overall, and we continue to see changes in these communities monthly. Inventory remains tight, although we saw improvements in a few areas in September.
The data in these reports are derived from the MLS. The data are believed to be accurate at the time these reports were compiled, but are not guaranteed.
As a local Realtor it’s essential I am educated about local market conditions (inventory, pricing, days on market). I am then better able to assist buyers and sellers effectively, and guide them in buying and selling decisions.
Reading these reports for areas that interest you is good education, whether you are planning to buy or to sell. I bet you are interested in the housing market even if you are not in buying or selling mode at this time. Understanding the market will help you in your decision making.
Local market conditions have a big impact on buying and selling because of supply and demand. This affects the marketing time, sales prices as compared to list prices, and of course the competition. Over and over we see that real estate truly IS local!!
