San Diego Restaurant Week Starts 9/25

Food

There’s great news for food lovers! San Diego Restaurant Week, the 2nd for 2022, is September 25th through October 2nd.

San Diegans can dine on food offerings at terrific prices at dozens of restaurants all over San Diego! You can’t go wrong as a dedicated foodie with so many options! So how will YOU decide?

San Diego Restaurant Week is all about reduced prices on fixed price multi-course menus at lunch, brunch (not all places) and dinner. Some may even include a drink as a course.

There are restaurants all over the greater San Diego area, over 180. This includes downtown, inland/East County, and northward along the coast to Carlsbad, Oceanside and Fallbrook.

I found 6 in my hometown of Carlsbad, including a favorite, Panini Kabob Grill at Bressi Ranch.

Fixed prices begin at $20 and vary by restaurant. You can check out the individual restaurant listings to see what’s offered and their pricing. (photo is NOT representative of any dish offered for restaurant week!).

San Diego Restaurant Week 2022

2022 San Diego Restaurant week is a marvelous way to check out places where you might not typically eat. Plus it’s an opportunity to expand your horizons and visit restaurants you’ve heard about but haven’t tried.

Restaurants may also offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and deliveries – check the listing or given them a call. Be sure to check for pricing and availability, and their hours!

No doubt you will find plenty of dining options near your home. Or you can travel a bit further to explore new places. Why not be adventurous in your dining instead of doing the same old!

It’s easy to participate in San Diego Restaurant Week. And there’s no need to buy tickets or passes.

First, check out the menus online. Then visit the restaurants that intrigue you and take advantage of great food and terrific prices. Reservations are NOT required but they are highly encouraged, especially for dinner and on weekends. Furthermore, this is a popular foodie event. Far better to be prepared than having to wait in line or learn there is no room.

If you don’t care for the Restaurant Week options you can also order from the regular restaurant menu.

Some restaurants offer Open Table reservations directly from the San Diego Restaurant Week website. Others offer reservation from their own business websites, or call the restaurant directly.

So why not plan lunch or dinner out this coming San Diego Restaurant Week, or more than one. All that’s needed is your wallet and your appetite!

Bon Appetit/Buon Appetito!!
