San Diego Restaurant Week is Coming

Food

San Diego Restaurant Week is March 26th through April 2nd and food lovers should be thrilled. This is the 1st of 2 events in 2023 offering 8 days of dining opportunities.

A wide range of food offerings at terrific prices can be found at dozens of restaurants all over San Diego! As a result how can a food lover go wrong with so many options?!

San Diego Restaurant Week features reduced prices on fixed price multi-course menus. Moreover, opportunities can include lunch, brunch and/or dinner. You might even find a special drink included as a course (photo is personal, not a representation of a restaurant week item).

Restaurants can be found across a broad area. This includes downtown, inland/East County, and north to Carlsbad and Oceanside.

There are 3 in my hometown of Carlsbad – 20/Twenty Grill, Ponto Lago, and Draft Republic.

Fixed prices vary by meal, starting at $20, and restaurant. Take a look at the individual restaurant listings to see what’s offered and prices.

2023 San Diego Restaurant week is a delicious way to check out places where you might not normally eat. Furthermore, consider this an opportunity to expand your culinary horizons and visit those restaurants you’ve heard about but haven’t tried.

Some restaurants may offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and deliveries. However, don’t assume but check first for pricing and availability. In addition, be sure to check restaurant hours.

No doubt you will find plenty of dining options near your home. Or travel a bit and explore new places. Be adventurous in your dining instead of doing the same old thing!

It’s easy to participate in San Diego Restaurant Week. You don’t have to buy tickets or passes. Simply visit restaurants that intrigue you and take advantage of great dining and prices.

Reservations are not required but always make sense, especially for dinner and on the weekend. Keep in mind this is a popular event. It’s better to be prepared with a reservation than waiting in line or find out there is no room.

By the way if you’re not keen on the Restaurant Week options you can also order from the regular restaurant menu.

Some restaurants offer Open Table reservations directly from the San Diego Restaurant Week website, or from their own business websites.

It’s time to plan lunch or dinner out this coming San Diego Restaurant Week, maybe more than once. Just bring a good appetite and your wallet!
