San Diego Restaurant Week 2021: 9/26 – 10/3

Dining out

Guess what’s happening very soon that is sure to please all area food lovers?

It’s San Diego Restaurant Week starting in just 2 days. The kick off is Sunday September 26th and you have until Sunday October 3rd to take advantage of all the special deals!

San Diego foodies can dine on a wide array of food offerings at great prices at over 180+ restaurants all over San Diego! How can you go wrong with all these options?!

San Diego Restaurant Week is all about reduced prices on fixed price menus at lunch, brunch (not all venues). You can enjoy dinner all over San Diego – downtown and inland/East County. And to the north in our coastal cities dine in Oceanside (2 restaurants) and Carlsbad (3 restaurants).

HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT

Multiple courses are offered for varying prices – dinner prices are higher than lunch. Lunch offers 2 courses ranging from $10 to $25; dinner prices range from $20 to $60 for 3 courses. You can’t lose!

What a wonderful opportunity to check out the restaurants you might not typically eat at. Or explore other places you’ve heard about but haven’t yet visited. You have the option to just eat from the normal menu, too, in case you are interested. But why miss out on these special fixed price deals?

You should expect that participating restaurants will observe the current COVID protocols and guidelines. This could include limitations on the number of diners allowed due to restrictions. A number of eateries offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and even deliveries. Check first to be sure depending on your preferences, pricing, and availability.

You are likely to find plenty of dining options near where you live. Or travel a bit further to explore new places? Be adventurous in your dining!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The other good news is that participating in San Diego Restaurant Week is simple. No tickets, coupons, or special passes are needed – just visit the restaurants that intrigue you and take advantage of great dining and prices.

While reservations are not necessary it always makes sense to have them. Who wants to wait in line or find out there is no room. To make reservations you can contact the restaurants directly or go through their website.

So plan lunch or dinner out at least once during San Diego Restaurant Week. Or enjoy multiple meals out…all you need are your wallet and appetite!

Bon Appetit/Buon Appetito!!
