Carlsbad is once again providing a FREE terrific service for those residents who have Christmas trees to get rid of. What better way than to recycle your tree so the mulch can be used throughout San Diego County? Easy for you and good for the County!
Carlsbad offers CURB-SIDE RECYCLING with your regular trash pick-up until Friday JANUARY 13th.
Simply place your tree at curb side next to your Green Waste Bin.
NOTE: If your tree is taller than 6 feet it should be cut in half. If you can, place your tree in the Green Waste recycling bin. Flocked trees cannot be recycled but must be picked up as trash.
There are also 4 convenient drop-off locations for residents to use for their tree recycling:
