Well, Fall is officially here. The weather is a bit cooler, there are fewer visitors, and the famous CARLSBAD OKTOBERFEST is this coming SATURDAY OCTOBER 7, in Holiday Park on Pio Pico near the Village.
As always, the Carlsbad Oktoberfest 2017 is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carlsbad,

As in 2016, Oktoberfest funds will assist 2 major beneficiaries, the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation, and Solutions for Change, a local charity dedicated to solving family homelessness.
What can you expect? Well, there will be lots of Oktoberfest fun and entertainment, and enough to keep you and friends or family busy from the moment you get there till you’ve had enough – German music and other bands, polka dancing, puppet shows, costume and yodeling contests. Andwhat Oktoberfest would be compete without a classic German Oktoberfest dinner. Advance tickets at $15 (for 1 full meal and admission), plus other ticket levels, can be purchased online.
