The San Diego housing market continues to be competitive, and we continue to see changes in these communities monthly. Inventory remains tight, and we are still seeing plenty of competition.
The data in these market reports are taken from the MLS. The data are believed to be accurate at the time these reports were compiled, but are not guaranteed.
It’s essential for me to be educated about local market conditions (inventory, pricing, days on market). I am then better able to assist buyers and sellers, and help them make informed buying and selling decisions.
Reading these reports for communities that are of interest is good education for you, whether you are planning to buy or to sell. I bet you are interested in the housing market even if you are not in buying or selling mode at this time. Understanding the housing market will help you in your decision making when the time comes.
Local market conditions have a big impact on buying and selling because of supply and demand. This affects marketing time, sales prices as compared to list prices, and of course the amount of competition. Over and over we see that real estate truly IS local!!
