The San Diego housing market remains competitive, and shifts continue each month in these communities. Inventory has become more limited, and there is still plenty of competition among buyers.
The data in these market reports are derived from our MLS. This information is believed to be accurate at the time these reports were compiled, but are not guaranteed.
It’s important that I am educated about local market conditions (inventory, pricing, days on market). That way I can help buyers and sellers make informed buying and selling decisions.
Reading these reports for communities that are of interest is good education for you, whether you are planning to buy or to sell. I find many people are interested in the housing market even if they are not planning to buy or sell right now. Understanding the housing market condition will help with your decision making when the time comes.
Local market conditions impact buying and selling because of supply and demand. This affects marketing time, sales prices versus list prices, and of course competition. Over and over we see that real estate truly IS local!!
