I know I will Never Forget that day 22 years ago. Will you? I suspect not.
Today, Patriot Day, is a National Day of Service and Remembrance to pay tribute to, and remember, all those who lost their lives, and all the Heroes on that tragic day.
I still remember the eerie silence in the skies, and the many high rise towers in Boston where we lived at the time that were promptly evacuated as the day unfolded.
This Chalk Art was completed by an unknown artist on the concrete boardwalk in Carlsbad Village on 9/11/2011. Simple, and yet so powerful. I’m so glad to have seen it and to have the photo as one more memory or that horrific day.
