The holiday events in Carlsbad continue, with the annual Makers Market, A Crafter’s Showcase, this Saturday, December 7th, from 9 am until 4 pm.
If you have more holiday shopping to do, this could be the time to finish up, now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are past, especially if you are in the market for creatively-designed and hand-crafted items.
The Makers Market, A Crafter’s Showcase, is a juried (hand-picked) selection of artisans, with 50 local and regional craftspeople offering jewelry, beading, linens, re-purposed items, 3D functional works, leather work, glass work, soaps and related products, artisanal foods, and no doubt much more.
The Makers Market, A Crafter’s Showcase, will take place in the north parking lot at 2938 Roosevelt Boulevard in the Village. While there is ample parking nearby you can count on a pretty good crowd so expect to walk a bit…but it will be worth it.
Pets on Parade is also taking place the same day, at the Carlsbad Village Fair beginning around 9:30 so there will be plenty of people out and about.
