The July 4th holiday is next Tuesday. So expect celebrations and fireworks in and around Carlsbad, along with private festivities, cookouts, and picnics. No doubt that means some beach time, too, for some!
Furthermore, let’s hope for warm, sunny weather!
Summer crowds have picked up. Additionally, restaurants are busier, and public parking at the beaches, and in the Village, is harder to find. As a result you should plan accordingly when heading out.
Here’s some of what’s happening for the holiday!
Red, White and BOOM at Legoland (link to website)
This popular annual celebration with fireworks takes place at Legoland California in Carlsbad on July 4th.
There is fun for all ages, with rides, live performances, relay races, and a picnic! Why not come dressed in red, white and blue?
The Legoland fireworks can be seen for miles. Additionally, they are popular with area residents with lots of vantage points, along with everyone at Legoland.
The Red, White and BOOM celebration starts at 10 am and runs until 9 pm. The fireworks are at 8:30. All festivities for Red, White and BOOM are included in the admission price!
4th of July BBQ and Fireworks at the Park Hyatt Aviara Hotel
Another favorite event is the BBQ celebration at the Park Hyatt Aviara Hotel. There’s live entertainment, hotel offerings (e.g., movies) and dining on a special BBQ dinner, followed by fireworks. Learn more about this special event and get tickets here.
There are things to see and do the entire holiday weekend at the Park Hyatt Aviara, too. In addition, the fireworks display on the 4th is at 9 pm.
