The Hot Rods and Cool Treats Carnival takes place on Saturday May 13th in Carlsbad Village. This fun event is at the Pine Avenue Community Center and Park at 3209 Harding Street, from 11 am until 2 pm.
Hot Rods and Cool Treats includes a number of fun activities for all to enjoy. There is also a classic car show that is sure to please. (photo is of a classic car but not one at this event).
Carnival games include Ring Toss, Can-Knock-Down, and Frog Hopper. There will also be face painting and crafts, and kids will enjoy the Fun Zone.
There will be live music to enjoy, as well as food and drinks for purchase. Furthermore, you can build your own sundae at the ice cream bar!
The classic cars are all 25 years or older. Moreover there will be awards in 11 different categories. The car show was limited to 30 car entries, however the event is now full. Come check out these classic cars and vote for your favorite – Best Interior, Best in Show, Best Paint, Kids’ Choice, and more.
