The Hot Rods and Cool Treats Carnival and Classic Car Show returns to Carlsbad Village on Saturday May 10th. This car show and carnival will be held at the Pine Avenue Community Center and Park at 3209 Harding Street, from 11 am until 2 pm.
Classic cars must be 25 years or older and there are multiple awards. The contest is limited to 30 cars and cars may only win in 1 of the 11 award categories. There are awards for Best in Show, Best Paint, Best Interior, Kids’ Choice, Oldest Car, Best Muscle Car, and more.
Entries are due by May 8th. (car photo is from another classic car event)
Come check out some beautiful classic cars and vote for your favorite, and have plenty of fun, too.
In addition to the car show there are several fun activities. Carnival games include Ring Toss, Can-Knock-Down, and Frog Hopper. Kids will also enjoy face painting and crafts. There is a Fun Zone and live music, plus food and drinks will be available to purchase. And for a special treat you can create your own sundae at the ice cream bar.
