The annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest for 2019 in Carlsbad Village is over and the winners have been announced today by the sponsor, the Carlsbad Village Association.
If you haven’t explored the Village to enjoy these windows, there is still plenty of time. And enjoy some shopping, dining, and holiday music while you are at it.
35 of our Village retailers participated, with some excellent entries from what I saw in my travels around town.
The People’s Choice Award was given to Handel’s Ice Cream (bottom photo in the collage below), based on 402 online votes from Carlsbadians.
The Kid’s Favorite Choice was selected by judges from the Carlsbad Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs, and that winner was Dollhouse Boutique.
The 3rd winner, Carlsbad Village Music, was selected by 2 of the City Council Members (Cory Schumacher and Priya Bhat-Patel).
