I don’t know about you but I’m still a little surprised that the holiday season is upon us. Seems like we were just enjoying summer and now it’s almost Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s.
The holiday season in Carlsbad and nearby is always chock-full of fun events to enjoy and I’ll be posting about some of my favorites so you can get ’em on your holiday calendars.
The Holiday at the Rancho is a popular holiday event each year, held at the Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch Park in the Rancho Carrillo area of Carlsbad, just off Melrose.
Holiday at the Rancho takes place Saturday December 2 runs from 5 – 8 pm with holiday crafts and activities (including cookie making), beautiful decorations and lights, Santa Claus, the tree lighting ceremony at 5:45, and a special movie on the outdoor screen at 6 pm, “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.” You can register and buy tickets ($10 per person, children 3 and under are free) online. You’ll be able to purchase food and beverages, too!
So get it on your calendar for Saturday December 2!
