The Annual Heart of the Village Blood Drive will be held in Carlsbad Village on Saturday, September 27th. Appointments are from 9:30 am until 3:00 pm. Carlsbad residents can once again help the San Diego Blood Bank with their ongoing need for blood donations.
As in the past, the Heart of the Village Blood Drive will be hosted at Barrio Glassworks at 3060 Roosevelt Street. Blood donations will be taken at the San Diego Blood Bank Bloodmobile in Barrio Glassworks parking lot.
Previous Heart of the Village Blood Drive events have been very successful, with hundreds of pints being donated. The Carlsbad Village Association is once again a sponsor.
Donations are Appointment Only, preferably in advance, but there might be last minute appointments available on donation day. You can reserve your appointment online at the San Diego Blood Bank website.
At the time this article was written there were multiple appointments available. However, in the past they have tended to fill up quickly. Don’t delay scheduling an appointment if you want to participate.
