The 2nd Annual Carlsbad Halloween in the Village will take place on Saturday October 26th. The event runs from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, with the Doggie Costume Contest at 4:00.
The Carlsbad Village Association does a terrific job promoting local businesses and events in Carlsbad Village, and Halloween in the Village is one of a long list, especially at the holidays. Like other events, Halloween in the Village is FREE (and so is the parking in Carlsbad!).
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad will sponsor games for all to enjoy! Of course there will be lots of different costumes to enjoy, plus a pumpkin photo patch, art making projects, face painting, pumpkin bowling, a witch hat toss, and photo station. Kids also can trick or treat at the local participating businesses.
Be aware that the 2019 Halloween in the Village takes place in a new location this year…at State Street and Oak Avenue (you can Google 505 Oak Avenue) by the Succulent Cafe.
There are plenty of local retailers close in the Village that you can visit. Who knows what special Halloween offerings and decorations you might find?! Trick or Treat!
