You may already know this, but if not, and you are a gelato fan, it’s pretty good news.
GelatoLove (originally Gaia Gelato), at the Village Faire Shopping Center in Carlsbad Village, has wonderful gelato in a wide range of flavors, and they offer new flavors now and then. They have been offering a variety of other types of desserts, too – mousse cakes, tiramisu – plus before Covid-19 hit us you could take classes on how to make gelato at their tasting room and gelato lab in Carlsbad.
When the virus shelter-in-place order hit GelatoLove, like other restaurants and retailers, had to close. But like other eateries they were able to start offering delivery services and that has now become part of their standard operation.
It’s easy! You can shop on line and orders of $30 or more are delivered for free.
If you order before 3 PM, deliveries in North County will arrive the next day in a freezer-proof bag; deliveries to the rest of San Diego County and Orange County will arrive within 3 days.
