As part of the celebration of EARTH MONTH 2017 in Carlsbad, you can attend a FREE composting workshop on Saturday April 22 from 10 am until 12 noon.
The workshop is open to Carlsbad residents and will be held at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation Discovery Center at 1580 Cannon Road. Learn how you can turn food scrap, grass trimmings and other “organic waster” into fertilizer.
You MUST register in advance and can do so on the City of Carlsbad website.
Carlsbad residents can also apply for discounts on composting bins from local vendors while supplies last.
