The Carlsbad Flower Fields are spectacular, as always. And while I’m not sure they have peaked they were absolutely gorgeous today, made even better by the beautiful, sunny day and the blue ocean in the distance.
Not surprisingly, the Flower Fields were closed as of March 17th due to the shelter in home order in place in California.
But the good news is if you are local you can still enjoy this beauty from Armada Drive which runs along the hill above the fields. There is a fair amount of parking but some days it’s likely to be full with people enjoying the views (while maintaining their social distance) and taking walks.
