One of the most popular marathons in a gorgeous setting is the CARLSBAD MARATHON and HALF MARATHON sponsored by the Tri-City Medical Center.
The CARLSBAD MARATHON will be on Sunday January 22, 2012 and it’s a great time to watch world-class marathoners. A large part of the course runs along the Coast Road so there are some great views for runners and viewers alike. Be aware that there are a number of road closures beginning VERY EARLY Sunday morning – parts of Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad Boulevard (Route 101/Coast Road) and others .
