Carlsbad has quite a reputation as an arts community, and the FRONT PORCH GALLERY is just one of the reasons.
Located at the corner of Grand Avenue where it meets the Coast Highway/Route 101 a.k.a. Carlsbad Boulevard, you are just a block from the beach and the heart of the Village.
The FRONT PORCH GALLERY was created in 2002 (with permanent space dedicated in 2004) to enable residents to share their art with the local community and to encourage community participation in its programs and mission. Exhibits change regularly with wonderful artwork and crafts to purchase.
Front Porch is a collaboration is not-for-profit communities and services in California (13 retirement communities, 33 affordable housing communities, 5 foundations and 9 skilled nursing care centers).
