There are lots of wonderful places to go walking or hiking in Carlsbad, and a particularly enjoyable one is HOSP GROVE PARK across the street from the Buena Vista Lagoon close to Carlsbad Village.
The 5.5 acre HOSP GROVE PARK has an extensive network of walking trails amidst a large grove of Eucalyptus trees. There is also a children’s play area.
HOSP GROVE PARK is open from 8 am until 10 pm and easy to get off of the 78 freeway, and Jefferson, Maron and Monroe, and is just south of the Westfield Shopping Plaza.
