We were out for a long walk on the “boardwalk” in Carlsbad on New Year’s Day morning and spotted a gentleman building stone sculptures just south of Tamarack Beach and the jetties by the lagoon, where all the stones are.
I’ve seen sculptures there before but over time they either fall over or get knocked down.
He had finished these 3 and was still working on another one so I left him to his business. It’s fun to see artistry show up in interesting places. There are plenty of stones there…perhaps you want to try your own hand at creating one!!
