Community Clean Up in Carlsbad Village

Consumer Information - Today's Housing Market

The big Community Clean Up is Sunday March 20 at the Village Faire Shopping Center from 9 am until 12 noon. It’s expected to be the largest community clean-up we’ve had in the Village. Volunteers are needed and should meet at the fountain in the central courtyard at the Village Faire.

The Village Faire is at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, west of the train tracks on the north side.

The Community Clean Up is a collaboration among Visit Carlsbad (our tourism board), the Carlsbad Village Association, Engel’s and Volkers Carlsbad (real estate company), the Carlsbad High School C3 Clean Up Club, and Richness of Giving (ROG).

Volunteers will be organized by Richness of Giving into groups to focus on different areas needing trash pick-up.

Richness of Giving (ROG) is a Carlsbad non-profit organization founded in 2017. Their mission is “to help feed, shelter, and educate children by providing resources and financial support that directly impacts communities locally and globally.” Some of their initiatives have included projects in Baja California (Mexico), Nicaragua and Guatemala.

Volunteers receive water, coffee, donuts and cleaning supplies, and cleanup t-shirts (while supplies last).

Furthermore, there will be informational booths at the event plus some local businesses. In addition, Mayor Pro Tem Keith Blackburn and Chief of Police Mickey Williams will speak.

Come help clean up the Carlsbad Village community!!
