Carlsbad Village Makers Market April 2

2023 Carlsbad Oktoberfest

The 2nd Makers Market of 2022 is on Saturday April 2nd, hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association. The Makers Market: A Crafter’s Showcase will be open from 9 am until 4 pm.

The popular Carlsbad Village Makers Market is now in its 6th year.

The Makers Market is free, and 50 or so local and regional artisans will showcase their creations. Be sure to bring credit cards or cash for shopping! (photo is from another arts and crafts fair in Carlsbad Village).

The Carlsbad Village Makers Market takes place outdoors at St. Michael’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church. The church is located at 2775 Carlsbad Boulevard.

The Makers Market Crafter’s Showcase offers terrific shopping, with self-designed and handcrafted items from local and regional artisans. With Mother’s and Father’s Days coming, birthdays, and more, there are plenty of gift-buying opportunities.

You may see some of the same participants from previous Makers Markets in addition to some new ones. Furthermore, as all vendors are jury-selected, expect high quality, creativity, and uniqueness.

Makers Market crafts are artisan-designed and crafted, which means one-of-a-kind items.

You can expect a broad range of art in different media. Examples include leatherwork, beading, natural jewelry, 3D functional art, re-purposed materials, fabric and glass creations, candles, and graphic design apparel.

In addition you’ll enjoy talking with the creators, asking questions, and learning about what inspired their creations!

The April Makers Market is sponsored by Beach Vibe Rentals, a golf-cart and e-bike rental company. Furthermore, there will be live music from 4 local musicians. Plus there are lots of local eateries close by if needed.

Don’t worry if you don’t find the right gift at the Makers Market. There are plenty of retailers in Carlsbad Village nearby to visit. Check out the Carlsbad Village Faire with dozens of stores!

If you have time, the beach is just a couple of blocks away for walk before or after the fair!
