Come join in the Carlsbad Village Clean-Up on April 16th in celebration of Earth Month.
The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), Pure Project Carlsbad and Handel’s Ice Cream are sponsoring a clean-up focused on tobacco waste. Think cigarette butts and e-cigarettes.
The clean-up is from 9 am to 11 am this Saturday.
Those who wish to help are to meet on the front patio at the Pure Project Carlsbad. Pure Project is a local brewery and taproom at 2825 State Street by the Carlsbad Train Station and Handel’s.
Participants will be provided with gloves, burlap bags, buckets and grabbers (while supplies last). Certainly feel free to bring your own, too.
The 3 people who bring in the most waste will win gift certificates. Certificates are good for pints of ice cream at Handel’s or pints of beer at Pure Project. Discount tokens will be offered to all those who help out with this important clean-up.
What a great opportunity to do something good for our Village AND the environment!
