The 17th Annual Carlsbad Music Festival, offering “adventurous music at the beach” (per the website), takes place in Carlsbad Village August 27th through the 29th.
The Carlsbad Music Festival, has been pleasing crowds for almost 2 decades, and this year should be no different. There are 25 individual artists and groups, all performing outdoors for Covid safety.
St. Michael’s By-the-Sea, at 2775 Carlsbad Boulevard, is the hub of the Carlsbad Music Festival. Concerts are also held at nearby Magee Park at 258 Beech Avenue.
Concerts take place from 4:00 to 10:00 pm Friday, 3:00 to 10:30 pm Saturday, and 1:00 to 7:30 pm Sunday. Here is the full schedule (subject to change).
Along with creative music you can enjoy an artisan market, food trucks and a beer garden on Saturday and Sunday, all in our beautiful coastal community. And there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities nearby in the Village, plus the beach is close by.
Tickets are required for all concerts. Options include 1- and 3-day General Admission passes for adults and kids. A limited number of VIP passes, with or without parking, are also available. Buy tickets online.
Carlsbad has a pretty solid rep as an arts community, with arts and crafts fairs and festivals, the city-owned Cannon Art Gallery and other art galleries, free summer TGIF Concerts in the Parks series (9 concerts on successive Fridays, returning in 2022), the Carlsbad Art Wall, the popular Museum of Making Music with multiple concerts, live performances at the New Village Arts Theater, and more.
