Happy Spring! The 2022 Carlsbad EGGStravaganza Spring Festival is coming soon!
Are you looking for something fun to do with the kids for Easter? This huge egg hunt may be just the thing.
Carlsbad EGGStravaganza Spring Festival 2022 takes place the day before Easter, Saturday April 16th. The event is at Poinsettia Park, located at 6600 Hidden Valley Road. The festival runs from 10 am until 1 pm.
Carlsbad EGGStravaganza Spring Festival offers plenty of fun for kids, with multiple activities. Fun will include face painting, cookie decorating, “Soak the Bunny,” crafts, plus a fun zone. Kids can enjoy Carlsbad’s largest Egg Scramble – Activity Cards required – from 10:30 until 12:30 (or when eggs run out).
There will be one competitive field for children 6 and older, and one for children 5 and younger. Groups of 20 – 30 children at a time will “hunt” for candy-filled eggs until they are gone. Fields will then be readied for the next group.
There will also be a non-competitive field for young children, and those with special needs. And this is the area for families to take photos.
Fun Zone Wristbands ($5) and Activity Cards ($5) should be purchased at one of the following community center locations during normal business hours. Furthermore, there is no advance registration, and no refunds or replacements.

You can also wait to purchase Wristbands and Activity Cards at the event but there may be line.
