Carlsbad abounds with things to do all year round, indoors and out, making it a favorite of residents and visitors! The Carlsbad Eclectic Lawn Concert series is but one example.
Carlsbad’s reputation as an arts community – visual arts, music, theater, arts and craft fairs – continues to grow, and a lot is FREE!
The pandemic restrictions put a damper on many events in 2020 and into 2021, with lots of cancellations but we are now seeing more public events.
The Carlsbad Music Festival is pleased to present another Carlsbad Eclectic Lawn Concert in Carlsbad Village. The concert will be held outdoors at St. Michael’s by the Sea on Saturday October 9 from 2 until 6 pm.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door; Children ages 6 to 12 are $5, with those 5 and under free.
Here’s the line-up for this concert:
2:00 Kamini Natarajan (Indian classical music)
3:00 The Ed Kornhauser Quartet (original instrumental jazz compositions)
4:00 Francis Blume (retro Americana)
5:00 Shannon Lay (folk singer)
This adventurous music concert should be lots of fun, and will also offer local craft beer and food trucks. Be sure to bring your blankets and low-back beach chairs, and sunscreen and hats, and of course money for food and drinks.
Because of COVID-19 please be prepared to show either proof of vaccination or evidence of a recent negative COVID test (within 72 hours). Photo ID required.
