The City of Carlsbad is hosting a volunteer cleanup of the Carlsbad Coastal Rail Trail in the Village on SATURDAY January 21, 2017.
The Cleanup starts at the trail head on Oak Avenue near Roosevelt.
Volunteer activities will include trail maintenance, planting shrubs, and erosion control.
New volunteers will be given some training by the City on how to use the tools. The City will also provide shovels, rakes, McClouds (combination heavy duty rake and hoe), water and snacks.
The Coastal Rail Trail Cleanup will being at 8:30 and run until 11:30. Parking is along Oak Avenue.
